Our Approach
We believe therapy should feel like a place to slow down, feel supported, and be fully yourself. Our approach is rooted in curiosity, compassion, and collaboration. Together, we explore how past experiences and nervous system patterns continue to shape the present, so healing can happen from the roots up, in ways that are meaningful and lasting.
We specialize in working with children, adolescents and adults navigating trauma, ADHD, and life transitions, tailoring therapy to your pace and needs. Our work centers on understanding your experiences, strengthening connection to yourself, and creating space for growth and change.
At its core, our work is about helping you reconnect with yourself and move forward with greater clarity, steadiness, and self-trust.

The Heart Behind Curious Roots Wellness
Hi, I'm Sarah. I'm so glad you're here.
If you're here, chances are something in life feels heavy, uncertain, or overwhelming. Maybe you've been carrying it alone for a long time. I want you to know, you don't have to.
When I created Curious Roots Wellness, I wanted to build more than just a therapy practice. I envisioned a space where people could take a deep breath, feel genuinely welcomed, and know they didn't have to have everything figured out before walking through the door. I never wanted therapy to feel cold or clinical. I wanted it to feel human.
Too often, we're focused on surviving, managing symptoms, getting through the day, or wondering why the same patterns keep showing up. But lasting healing begins when we gently explore what lies beneath the surface.
My role isn't to tell you who you should be. It's to help you better understand your story, recognize the patterns that once helped you survive, and discover new ways of moving forward that feel authentic and aligned with who you are. Together, we'll slow down, ask meaningful questions, make sense of your experiences, and remember that healing doesn't have to happen in isolation.
I believe therapy should be collaborative, genuine, and rooted in trust. I'll bring my clinical knowledge, curiosity, and compassion, and together we'll create an approach that fits you; not a one-size-fits-all plan, but one that honors your unique experiences, strengths, and goals.
Thank you for stopping by. Whether you're reaching out for the first time or returning to therapy, I'm honored you're here. I hope this is the beginning of something meaningful.
